More than 165 guests attended the in-person event for the 19th edition of the Médaillés de la relève. This year, in the family business category, the winning companies are: Imaginaire, Drumco Construction, and Ultimate Tech. In the entrepreneurial category, the winners are: DMG Aéro, Gestisoft, and Signature Aerospace.

About the Business Transfer Awards

Initiated by PwC, in collaboration with National Bank, Davies, Investissement Québec, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, the Caisse, Familles en affaires – HEC Montréal, La Presse, and Koze, this competition aims to celebrate the success of Quebec businesses that have successfully completed their succession process while ensuring their long-term viability. The competition recognizes businesses in two distinct categories: family succession and entrepreneurial succession.

The entrepreneurial succession category highlights the successful transfer of a Quebec private business by its owner to at least one entrepreneurial successor. The family succession category, meanwhile, highlights the successful transfer of a Quebec private business by its owner to at least one family member.
