A unique contest and event dedicated to the recognition of successful business transfers!

More than 200 guests attended the closing ceremony of the 13th edition of the
Awards – Business Transfer. Serge Harnois, president and CEO of Harnois Énergies was the honorary presidents of the event. This contest is organized by PwC Canada and its partners to celebrate the success of Quebec companies that have successfully completed their transfer process, not only by maintaining the sustainability of their business, but by ensuring its growth as well.

Established by PwC in collaboration with BCF Business Law, the Business Development Bank of Canada, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Familles en affaires – HEC Montréal, the National Bank, Toast Studio and La Presse +, the Business Transfer Awards celebrate the achievements of Quebec businesses that have successfully gone through the succession process and that have thereby ensured their long-term sustainability.
This year, the Awards features two different succession categories: entrepreneurial transfers and family transfers.

The Entrepreneurial transfer category highlights private Quebec businesses whose owners have successfully handed over their companies to at least one entrepreneurial successor.The Family transfer category highlights private Quebec businesses whose owners have successfully handed over their companies to at least one family member.
